My friend Tasha recently hosted a Bombay Bramble Networking Brunch at Spritz by Serenata. Believe or not, I’m not a big networker, I just so happen to know a lot of people. Lol. I actually enjoyed networking and talking to people that I didn’t know. It was so dope to be surrounded by so many successful black women. If you haven’t tried Bombay Bramble, definitely grab a bottle. I enjoyed the DC Bramble which is Bramble, lemonade and tonic water.
Summer Restaurant Week is August 9-15th. It is literally my favorite week of the year. Gather the girls, get dressed up and hit some of DC's best restaurants to enjoy a 3 course meal for $35 to $55. I mean...what's not to love?
Alright, so here's my top 5 list of places (in no particular order) that are participating in restaurant week to check out. I may add a few honorable mentions as well. A full list of restaurants are available on www.ramw.org 1. Trulucks 2. Gatsby 3. Mi Vida 4. Nobu 5. Grillfish |
