Calico DC

Calico is a hidden gem in Blagden Alley and when I say hidden, I mean it.  The restaurant is situated on the backside of the alley which was shut off to traffic to allow restaurants to offer outdoor seating.  The alley is also filled with eye catching street art.  Calico has a cute patio with fire pits and heaters, swings and more which makes you feel like you're at someone's back yard BBQ.  Calico provides online ordering from your table using a QR system which I really like because it minimizes exposure of their employees and they still provided great service.  Literally as soon as I paid for something, they were delivering it to my table.  Aside from the vibe, the food was good and the adult juice boxes were my favorite part.  Calico will be on my list of places to go to again this summer.
