KAWS: What Party is on exhibit at the Brooklyn Museum until September 5th. "KAWS: WHAT PARTY is a sweeping survey featuring more than one hundred broad-ranging works, such as rarely seen graffiti drawings and notebooks, paintings and sculptures, smaller collectibles, furniture, and monumental installations of his popular COMPANION figures." People go bananas to pose with the COMPANION figures in stores so imagine a whole museum full of them! I'm in the process of planning a weekend getaway to New York and just copped tickets.
For tickets and additional info: www.brooklynmuseum.org/exhibitions/kaws_what_party Tickets are $25 for adults, $16 for students and $10 for children
