Wharf DC

Today was perfect weather to get outdoors. I decided to go down to the Wharf. I wanted to check out the Kamala Harris mural and the Colada Shop. Pictures of the mural doesn’t do it justice and I’m glad I caught it before they take it down. The Wharf is currently hosting Bloomaroo so there are Cherry Blossoms 🌸 everywhere.

I stopped at the Colada Shop for coffee. The Colada shop is a cute little Cuban coffee shop on the corner. They serve coffee, empanadas, Cuban sandwiches, pastries and cocktails. I tried the chicken empanadas. They were pretty good.

The Wharf continues to add restaurants and shops. I love it down there. My only complaint is the parking. The garage is convenient but congested and over priced. I usually try to park on L’Enfant and just walk over but even that was crowded. Anyways had a great Sunday afternoon at the Wharf.
