You already know I'm a fan of Fenty Skin. I use the Start'r Bundle as a part of my daily skin care routine. You can currently get the full size bundle for $66 until 8/1 in celebration of Fenty Skin's Birthday.
Fenty Skin has also launched new products. I was already planning to add the Overnight Recovery Gel-Cream ($40) to my routine but the Buff Ryder Exfoliating Scrub ($32) and Butta Drop Whipped Oil Body Cream ($39) both sound amazing as well. You can buy them as a set for $64.
Skn by LH
Lori Harvey just announced her skincare line called Skn by LH. I haven’t seen any details about the line such as products, pricing, etc but I will definitely be on the look out. I mean look at sis’ skin.
TJ Lemongrass Coconut Oil
A friend of mine always wears this body oil. It has a very distinct lemongrass scent that smells amazing and I always mention it when she puts it on. I had no idea it was a Trader Joe’s brand until she gifted me with a bottle. It is the perfect after shower body oil whether before bed or in the morning, lemongrass is known to reduce stress and uplift the mood. The oil keeps my skin shiny me hydrated throughout the day. Do yourself a favor a grab a bottle ASAP!
One good thing that came from quarantine was my hair growth. Because salons were closed, I went a few months without putting heat on my hair. I also spent more time and effort caring for my hair and putting it into protective styles. I can’t take all of the credit though, these products from Mielle Organics definitely helped. I’ve been using the Rosemary Mint Hair Growth Oil for a while now. The oil leaves my hair hydrated and shiny but not overly oily. I suffer from scalp anyways so I can use all the extra moisture. I recently added the Rice Water collection for my wash day/wash and go routine. Rice water is know to add hydration and strengthen hair to prevent breakage. Women in Japan have used rice water as a hair treatment for centuries. The Rice Water collection leaves my hair soft and doesn’t leave residue or product build up.
You can purchase Mielle at Target, Walmart or most pharmacy stores where hair care products are sold. You can also order online www.MielleOrganics.com
Rooted River Coffee Scrub
I recently posted about Tia, the owner of Rooted River Essentials in my persons post (make sure you check it out), but this post is to rave about her products. I ordered the fadeaway coffee scrub. The products are all handmade and organic. It shipped fast, was nicely packaged and it smells amazing. I love a good body scrub and this one is supposed to fade some of these stretch marks. I have another trip coming up in a few weeks so I can’t wait to see the outcome.
Maelys B-flat and B-tight
I call this the dynamic duo. I purchased these Maëlys products a few weeks ago. As I started to lose weight, I wanted to firm up my skin because you know summer is right around the corner. The B-flat targets the stomach area and the B-tight targets the butt and thighs. These products tighten as well as get rid of cellulite and fade stretch marks. I did a little research and decided to try them out. So far so good. I can tell a difference but I am also on keto and working out...My only warning is that these products do heat up and tingle when you apply them. I was caught off guard the first time but it’s not unbearable and doesn’t last long.
I plan to continue to use these until they are empty. I may do a before and after then to show my progress. If you’re also interested in trying them, use my referral code for a discount: http://fbuy.me/v/chany0201
Just re-upped on my Fenty Skin products. With wearing a mask 8 hours a day. 6 days a week while at work, my skin was suffering. My skin was always dry and I was breaking out around my mask so when Rihanna released Fenty Skin, I was pressed. I ordered the Start'r Kit which includes a cleanser, the fat water toner and moisturizer and fell in love for $75. I pretty much don't use anything else and my skin has almost cleared up. I still have a few blemishes but I haven't had a crazy break out since. The products feel and smell amazing. The ingredients are clean, no harsh chemicals, they are also vegan and gluten free. A little goes a long way. She continues to add to her line and now offers the Start'r Kit in travel sizes for $40. This is a good option if you just want to try it out.
